Simon Weldon

Simon has been in the financial services industry since 1982 during which time he’s been employed by some of the world’s largest investment houses, as well as some of the smallest.
Most recently, he’s held the position of Chief Executive within an investment group and a firm of financial advisers.
Simon has run Weldons since 2019, his approach to financial planning is centred on building long-term relationships, with a strong focus on understanding each client’s objectives and delivering clear advice aligned to their wider goals. His disciplined process ensures recommendations remain appropriate as circumstances evolve.
He works with a limited number of clients to maintain a high level of personal service and continuity of advice, combining a tailored approach with robust technical oversight and an ongoing focus on keeping clients on track.

William Proger
Founder & CEO
For the last two and half decades William has advised on and managed money for a wide range of private and institutional clients.
After graduating from Exeter University with a degree in Business Economics in 1999, William held a series of investment management roles at C Hoare & Co and Kleinwort Benson.
He set up and led a team at Barclays Wealth tasked with advising and managing the most sensitive and strategically important clients of the bank. These included the main board Directors, senior financial services executives as well as family offices and Heads of State.
Latterly William co-headed the London branch of Mirabaud’s private bank and, most recently, helped to launch Saranac Partners, a multi-family office based in London.
William is a Director of William & Partners and oversees all of the firm’s activities, leading on client advice and strategy.
